joining ring and lighting earth

I've got a 9 switch grid running the lights in a livingroom off a 5 amp protected double pole switched spur from the main, but I'd like the existing/original ceiling rose switch connection (1.5 t&e) to be in this grid.
Regs wise, can i join the earths, or does it have to be in it's own switch and cage?

Whilst I'm at it i'd also like to Switch 12v to a motorised blind via a 2-way single pole rocker in the same grid, would the regs frown on this?

Well they're all joined together at the CU....

You do know that you have to have a warning notice on the switch about the fact that there are 2 circuits in there....?

As for the 2nd Q, why not switch the primary?

Given its a grid switch, the warning can be under the face plate, op top of the frame.

As others have said remember to put a warning label on the grid so anyone working on the switch in future knows multiple circuits are installed.

I think it is ok to have 12V stuff in the same enclosure as mains as long as the 12V is run with mains rated cable but i'm not positive on that.
