joists and insulation

is there any reason why I can\\\'t get a wide roll of f/g insulation and just unroll it over everything this is in a part of my loft where access is very difficult to get to.( once insulated it will never be visited again)

Only if it covers light fittings that get very hot and need some upward ventilation (ie halogen downlights)

Otherwise go for it.
