As a side note, does anyone use 5A JBs? arkward to terminate in? I tend to use 20A ones for lighting, the other day I even used a 30A one because it was readily available and I had 5 lots of 1.5mm² T&E* to terminate.

Oh the 20A JBs, the ones from B+Q with the 4 terminals in a square are crap, the brass on the screws is toosoft, the screwdriver cuts a 'ramp' into the head and you can't tighten it once thats happened  , In comparsion the ones from Wilkinson that tend to have all the terminals in a line don't suffer from this

*Didn't need a switched L terminal, just had feed from CU, main loop, two feeds running off to the sides for hall lights (looped in separatly) and a feed to an FCU (which now has its earth connected *mutters 4 letter words about previous owners DIY*)

You're right about the JB's from b+q !

Yeh I used a couple of the white ones (too lazy to drive to my local trade counter), do the screws up a little too tight, and pop stright out of the thead!
