You should switch to a better ISP.

TT are excellent in general. And not being able to view one site certainly wouldn't warrant me doubling my BB costs, especially when it's fixable.

Really, because it took a full month to get them to give up the line here so we could use a decent provider. During which they were quite happy to release billing details for the previous occupants. Oh, and they actually blocked the customer service number from the home line so we had to use a mobile to get through to them. They will never get any business from me or anyone I know..

Every provider has it's detractors. Just because you haven't had a good experience doesn't mean that everyone has.

No, but an experience like that is enough for me to steer others away from them.

Indeed. And there are other doing the same for your ISP. What goes around......
 
Works fine with my isp,had similar probs like monkeh with tt so swapped.
 
Box, I'm with Talk Talk - not out of choice, but as a consequence of Tiscali sinking into the brown stuff - and those sites are certainly not blocked on my laptop.
 
I can see them too.

I was with Tiscali, but the second I got the dreaded letter about them turning into Talk Talk, I changed ISP. I'm with O2 - tenner a month for 20mb unlimited downloads - can't argue with that.
