Just painted the outside of the windows of the hosue - then has started to rain - cant believe it
(the forecast said my area should be rainfree - in case anyone says why not check the forecast)
used outdoor gloss paint (not a particular waterproof / all weather variety though, unfortunately, says 16 - 24 housr drying time)
resealed the frame of the double glazing and paint all around it - then started to rain 3 hours after i finished - am i completed screwed?
the window ledges that i painted seemed to have taken the brunt of it and has a rippled effect where the rain has hit it. I smoothed these with my hand - silly as it sounds - but it seems to have smoothed things nicely.
so what is the verdict? - do i have to do the whole lot again, Or are the upper parts of the rame at least likely to be ok as they are less exposed?
Thanks
Andrew
