Hi, I just used mapei 3240fibre re enforced levelling compound on my 17msq kitchen floor. Overall I'm very happy, got rid of a 10mm crater in a large section.
But when we put it down, I went back to add some to a section still within the 20 minute working time they say, but the stuff I'd already put done must have already started to harden. As today the perimeter of this area has little lumps and bumps from my spiked roller, but overall it's level enough
Can I sand this with an electric sander? Anything I should be aware of. Do I need to prime it after?
I'm laying Karndean LVT tiles.
The only other option is to use a few more bags and do the whole floor again at the thinnest amount which they say is 3mm. I'd like to just put a bit on the dodgy secto and feather it but they say it can't be feathered very well
Thanks
