Kenmore clothes washing machine no drain or spin

It fills and agitates then gets to rinse and spin cycle and then only makes a noise like motor is running but no pumping out water or spinning.
It's happened before but turning off and letting sit for a while it would then start working again and finish the load. but no such luck this time .
model no 82380110 off metal tag when lid lifted. Any ideas...Thanks
