Kenmore washer

Our washing machine fills only with hot water. We have checked the hoses, and all are ok, but will not fill with cold.

When you say you have checked he hoses, I am assuming you have checked the filter screens inside the valves? If so, start the washer and check for voltage at the fill valve cold side. If you have 120 volts at the cold side valve you have a bad valve.
