Usually if a washing machine doesn't spin it is because it thinks there's water in the machine, even if all the water has been pumped out.
So, I suggest to check the small plastic container and the attached small diameter tube, to the pressure switch (round switch located on top of front loading machines) - in fact as machine fills up with water and then as it pumps out the water you should hear the pressure switch 'clicking sound' - if the tube connected to it is blocked then it thinks there's water in the machine and so it won't spin.
