I have been let down by a couple of mechanics to replace the head gasket on my 2003 sportage 2L petrol Kia.
Now thinking of having a go myself, I have done a few head gaskets in the past, last one was on a twin cam Rover K series 11 years ago, and I would not want to do another.
Their is no Haynes Manual for the Kia available, and I cant find any info on the web regarding the head bolt torque.
I am told the engine is a old Mitsubishi design, does any one know ?
Has any one done one, any information appreciated.
PS. Tried the bottle of Seal Steel.
