King Size bed from old fence posts

I was given some old fence posts and thought i'd give making a bed a go, heavily reinforced, turned out to be a solid structure, undecided on headboard, any suggestins are appreciated.

I heard a rumour it was some bloke that does drains for a living

What did you use on the floor? Wax or varnish?

Cheers guys, great feedback on headboard suggestions, It was built strong to hold the restraints from each post, will report back after through testing has been performed

Looks like varnish to me. A big mistake in my book. Once scratched with the studded gimp mask it will look a mess. Someone needs a damn good spanking for that.

Just waiting for a king size mattress to arrive then will be building bed ( wife does not like anything she has seen )and a standard divan does not fit up the stairs .
She wants one of these for a head board
