Hi tgo all here goes , have a 3 year old RSL80 after the summer shut down have been plagued with problems.
The main one is noise, if you are by the boiler and turn it on after 3 or 4 mins it will start to knock and bang as if the water is boiling turning off the boiler stat stops this after about 2 mins
Sometimes you will turn the system on and it will run perfectly all night, this made me think it might be the pump so i replaced it last night.
Initially for about 2mins the pump was noisy than it ran silently all evening, put the system on this morning and after a couple of minutes it started to bang and sound like water was boiling so turned it off. Is it possible the control box is not turning the pump on or am i lookin in the wrong direction.
When all this happens if you are upstairs by the not water tank you can hear water running through the pipes
thanks michael
