Could anyone suggest very slim downlights?

I would like to install the slimmest downlights possible because their positions may well fall on joists. The thinnest I have found on amazon are about 30mm.

My ceilings are made of 12.5mm plasterboard fixed into 12.5mm plywood. Above that joists. I could in theory accommodate about 20mm but not more.

You can get surface mount. Main reason for not using surface mount is they are integral units, so you can't renew the bulb, the GX53 seems to be a way around that, but never tried them.

Ah thank you very much that is exactly what I am going to do for the whole house, and hopefully no need to cut open holes in the ceilings.
