But screwfix seam steep, is there anywhere cheaper please?

Unless anybody knows of a better way to join kitchen cabinets to each other.

for drawer units, replace a few of the short screws that hold the runners on for longer ones that go through into the next unit..
for other units with doors, screw through between the hinge holes and the hinge covers it..

it tells you that in the instructions that come with the IT kitchen units.. and even supplies the screws to do it..

Thanks, but screws into chip board just don't do it for me I'm afraid, after something that's sturdy.

wow, are those steel sleeve nuts? we had someone trying to find them recently. And they were on Screwfix all the time

If you want to save money, try the part-plastic ones. That's all I've used and mine seem OK (thread will strip if you use enormous strength). Ten for £1.26

I've ordered the steel sleeve nuts as with this kitchen no corner will be cut in order to make it to our spec.
