Hi. We just had our kitchen done. We have noticed that the cornice and pelmet don't look right. Could you have a look at those photos, please. Are they ok or should they be flush with the cabinet doors? How can I rectify the problem?
Thank you

bet the kitchen fitter didnt clamp the pelmets to the cabinets when he wound the screws in?.
when i do pelmets/cornices i clamp and pre drill at the side to stop this very problem.

If you stop the light coming through it will improve it. Use tape or sealant

Have the wall cabinets got separate side panels? It also looks like the panels have been scribed too far back so they don't sit flush with the doors

Well to me it looks like the end panels have been scribed in to the wall too far, meaning they sit further in than the doors. Then the pelmet has been put on flush with the end panels (as they should be) which means it's all set back too far in relation to the door fronts
