Hi does anyone know what the standard or maximum height for kitchen cupboards. I know it kinda would depend on how tall the person is, but just wondering what the most common height is? Thanks

The question is a little vague but here goes:
* The standard base unit would stand from floor level to worktop height, at around 900mm.
* A standard wall unit is 726mm
* The gap between worktop and underside of wall unit, often depends on the customer, this could depend on the height available between ceiling and upper-side of wall unit and also if tiled, the tile sizing could be factored in to this gap (for ease of fitting).
* I personally would say between 450mm and 500mm would be normal, this would give you a distance from floor to underside of wall cabinet 1350mm-1400mm.

Hope this was the answer you required.

Sorry my mistake I meant the wall cupboards, I know height of work top to be 900mm got that sorted, have measured a height for the wall cupboards but the gap between bottom of wall cupboard to the Worktop looks a bit too much.

Tall units usually determine the overall height i.e. larder units etc.

440mm is an acceptable gap betwixt work top and wall unit underside.

That is fair point by noseall, as it can sometime be dictated by the sizes of units such as the larder units. Some manufacturing sizes do differ but standard larder unit would 2005mm, a base unit would be 726mm and wall unit 726mm. This would then leave a distance of 553mm minus worktop depth.

Plus some legs and kickboard for the base unit to sit on mebbe?
Which would make no difference to the measurements given to attain the gap between worktop and underside of wall unit. Even if sat directly to floor or mounted on 8 ft stilts, it would not alter that gap/space!
I did mention overall height from floor in earlier post.
