The missus has decided we need to convert a perfectly good dining room and kitchen into 1 kitchen diner!
Obviously this will involve removing an internal wall. The wall (brick) in question supports the joists for both the bathroom & a bedroom. The joists are not continuous but overlap on top of the support wall which needs to be removed.
The wall between the bathroom and bedroom is an old lath & plaster wall. The gap to be spanned is approx 4.6m.
Just as a guide what would be the way to span the gap and with what?
Cheers Nick
