Hi all

Fitting a kitchen at the moment from b&q (Gloss cream slab) with blocked laminate worktop. Starting to look very bland with gloss end panels, so looking to change slightly and thought about blocked end panels but finding it hard to see where to get from, or even gloss brown to break up the cream

Worktop : http://www.staxtradecentres.co.uk/products/857264/wilsonart-worktops-blocked-oak.htm
Kitchen: http://www.diy.com/rooms/kitchen/kitchen-ranges/it-gloss-cream-slab/cat710010.cat

This is what I was thinking of : http://schofieldinteriors.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/DSC_0871-150x150.jpg

Anyone help or make other recommendation?

Thanks

You could use strip pine board and stain with oak dye/oil [cheaper option than oak].
