Hi chaps,
Had an extension done last year. Builders done a suspended floor.
Due to council regs etc, the drain had to be kept inside.
So builders made a little brick wall around the old drain, chucked away lid and extended it up to just above the plywood floor.
Anyways, this set up allows me to place tiles around them. The inside is left with less screed and this allow the tiles in the drain to be flush with the tile on the ply.
Anyways ive decided to put a wooden floor instead. A bamboo floor.
Thing is, the drain is too high! The builders were a bit cowboy and therefore the floor is not all perfectly level (actually thats an understatemnt) I just spent last week putting most of it to almost level.
However the drain is still too high. I cant floor over it as it is.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
