I am installing a new kitchen in my house, after removing the old kitchen the floor is only tiled up to the units and then tiled fully under the stand alone cooker/fridge and washing machine. However the layout of the new kitchen will be slightly different the current one so the appliances and units will not sit level.

Am I right in thinking I can used a self levelling compound to fill the gaps and level the floor? The existing tiles cannot be bought anymore.

Can any recommend a levelling compound or another way of doing it

All help appreciated

Thanks

Quicker and easier to buy a few cheap floor tiles to fill, even a thin ply glued down would do it if on a budget.Though I would remove tiles to lower the overall level rather than building up.
