Kitchen floor paint

We want to paint our kitchen floor which is half chipboard and half self levelling compound.

Ideally we'd like to use a 'speckled' finish but can't find anything suitable for the wood. Is there anything that would do the job?

If not where can I find a range of colours in ordinary floor paint that comes in colours other than the usual red/grey/black/white?

Personally I'd tile. I find floor paints ok up to a point, but not when it has a lot of foot traffic/spills.
