Hello everybody

I’ve come to change the switch in my old chestnut cottage and I have found more wires then I was expecting. This light switch only controls one light in the room and is the only light switch in the kitchen.
Could anyone help me out to find out what all these wires are for please ?
There’s 3 red going into Com and a yellow into the L1
2 black and 1 blue wire going into a separate wire block together.
3 earths going to the metal box itself.

Perfectly standard. Wire your new switch the same way. If metal add an earth to the earth terminal.

One cable: Red & Black - Supply Line(live) and Neutral.
Other cable: Red & Black - Loop Line and Neutral to next room.

Other cable to light position:
Red - additional Line presumably for another appliance if used - possibly a fan.
Blue - Neutral
Yellow - Switched Line for room light.
