Kitchen Lighting Ideas

Hi all,

We are having an extension built onto the back of the kitchen - the new part of the kitchen is to have a sloping ceiling at about 30 degrees with a velux window down the centre of it.

I'm looking for ideas of how to light this half of the kitchen. One idea is eyeball spotlights rotated to point vertically downwards but I'm not sure if they will be able to rotate enough.

Anybody got any other ideas?

depends what you want to achieve, i would suggest going to a lighting shop.

I have seen some recessed lights with mirrors which you adjust to re angle the light

I've also found some eyeball ones that go to 30 degrees here : http://www.asourceoflight.co.uk/lodownlights.htm.

I guess I'll wait until the ceiling is on its way up to see whether 30 degrees will be enough....
