Hi all,

I changed my kitchen cold water tap cartridge about 2 years ago, after 2 years started dripping a week ago, rather than clean in vinegar etc, I decided to buy a new replacement for £15. After arriving and installing, the cold water drips continue every 5-10 seconds from the sprout. I then brought Plumbers Grease and applied on cartridge valve and all over the cold water tap thread. Hot water is fine.........where would my next step be?

NB: My 1st cartridge lasted 7 years! So I am guessing there was never an issue with my cartridge I brought 2 years ago, anyway I am now using a new cartridge!

Check the seating of where the cartridge sits
I brought a draper tap reseating tool Toolstation (Draper) for £10 and some of the thread inside was removed and with a light looks better, but cold tap still dripping. Any ideas (after a new cartridge and reseating tool)
