Kitchen Upstands/Splashbacks

Can anyone recommend the best way to attach these to the wall?

Am I best looking for a heavy duty quick drying adhesive?

Depends on material involved, Grip fix or similar is suitable for many types and also wall tile adhesive.

Just your standard laminate upstands - ive been told to use something called Pinkgrip as well - is that an adhesive you would suggest?

Only if you want the wall coming down with it if you ever remove it.
