Kitchen wall cabinets on Breeze block ?

Having a kitchen extension and the side wall is is not built yet.

Should I see if the builder can build the wall in foundation or engineered blocks instead of Breeze block ? Will this cost him a lot more or mess things up ?

Have read somewhere that Breeze blocks can crumble when drilling.

Will be plaster board finished.

Do you mean thermalite blocks? Even the softest blocks will take kitchen units, just a matter of using the correct plugs.
