When we moved into our new house there was some very slight swelling at our kitchen worktop. It's been getting worse and worse recently. Is there any way to fix this without replacing the whole worktop? TIA.

as big-all,
all edges and cut outs including any tap holes must be sealed - we use contact adhesive but there's choices.
we also seal behind any metal edging strips before fixing them.
once moisture gets below the laminate then its curtains for the w/t.
