KitchenAid Clean light flashing

Can anyone help me.

Our KitchenAid dishwasher will only flash the "clean" light. I can push the "cancel/drain" and it appears to attempt to drain the water but then it just stops and flashes the clean light again.

One other note, it appears to be flashing 7 times then pauses and flashes 7 times again in repetition.
