KitchenAid KSM90 Worm Gear

Does anyone know where i can buy a worm gear for a KSM90 kitchenaid (whirlpool) mixer?

found places in the US but they won't ship to uk, even amazon.com won't ship them over here.

it's a nylon one that got mangled due to too much stiff dough.

There are various places that sell them, commercial catering companys are a good bet.

Unfortunately the plastic gear is not sold on its own anymore you have to buy the whole mount. This is the part.

You can try calling Kevin at http://www.moorgoods.co.uk/appHome.aspx as I know he just got one last week (tried high and low just to get the plastic gear but the UK distributors said kitchenaid had stopped it being avail on its own here) and I am sure it was less than £47.00

looks like i'll have to buy the whole mount then. with shipping works out at 35quid.

the 7 dollar cog in the US seemed too good to be true!

Whirlpool do the same with some of their other marks, you can get the small componants in the states but not over here even for import.
