I live in a first floor Victorian conversion flat.
The neighbours downstairs are doing major work.
In the past couple of days, I hear a kind of knocking sound (a bit like when a window is open and a shut door makes a sound against the wind) whenever I run a tap.
It's never happened before. The neighbour downstairs and I both have mains taps in the shared hallways, they've actually turned mine off before by accident.
Is it possible that my pipes have become loose while they've been working on their own? My water pressure isn't particularly high as it is because the water has to run from downstairs up to mine.
