Kohlangaz fire caught fire

Hi,

I have a Kohlangaz GC 32 453 73 gas fire. Last night, the control knob caught fire due to a flame emerging from the control valve.

I have a RGI to work on it but he cant find the spare parts.

The part numbers needed are:
383704 and 144008

Any help would be appriciated.

maybe your rgi is trying to tell you to scrap it,seems like this fault should be reported to hse.

He is trying to sell me a replacement fire but its because he said that the parts are obsolete, he will fit parts if i can get them new and boxed
