Is it possible?
How is the 'L' return piece affixed to the main screen? Is it just a seal, so I can simply omit it? Or is it actually part of a preformed L shaped piece of glass?

Can't seem to find anything on a Google search

Thanks

Would need to see pictures before anyone could give an opinion. Quite often it is a glued joint but I did come across one many years ago where it had been 'glass welded' along the joint with molten glass.

Hi,

It will depend completely on the model.
This from Victoria Plum uses a wedge gasket:

If I may ask, why not a flat screen? :)
