Labours upcoming Council Tax evaluations, Lofts..

The new council tax bands are going to take into account how many rooms, quality of kitchen and even if you have a nice view.

How will this effect Loft conversions? I am planning a conversion but theres no way I am going to let the red facists put me into a 6 bedroom band from a 4.

I am thinking about making a cinema room without windows and may leave the other loft room windowless as well therefore avoiding higher tax bands.

Is this the future of home improvement? living a lie behind closed curtains?

And before anyone says they can gain entry, i doubt very much this will happen as they will need police escorts for every home vist. A Home vist when you sell your house is muh more likely imo.

If you can afford a home cinema, charge pay per view !! then you could afford to pay for your view.. not forgetting the popcorn sales ?!/
