Hi,
I wonder if anyone can cast some light on a problem I am having with my Halstead Eden CBX 32 combi boiler.
The central heating works fine but the hot water does not heat up. Initially I discovered that it could of been a blocked filter in the heat exchanger but when I run the hot water the central heating gets warm? Do you agree that this is pointing to the diverter valve? I have no real experience in this field and my usual plumber is off on his hols again.
I have discovered that it may just be a diaphragm that maybe punctured or split and how some people have repaired these temporary with a bicycle repair kit! I will be getting the full instruction manual tonight for the boiler which should help me locate this part. I am a competent DIY'er but if gas is involved in this part (i assume not for this motorised valve) I clearly will not be giving it a go.
Anyone got any advice where I should start?
Kind Regards
Russell
