I have had an on going problem for over a year now.
basically during the summer months when CH off there was plenty of hot water. Now we have switched CH on all the same problems as last winter have re-ocurred.
to start we could only get third of a bath of hot water.
radiators not very hot - some upstairs luke warm.
things that have been done so far;-
New motorized valve.new thermostat on tank. all the radiators flushed and a flushing solutution/inhibitor put in system.
radiators removed and flushed again outside. when this was finished the next day we had no hot water.
plumber returned and back flushed the return to the boiler.
hey presto loads of hot water.
as time progressed the volume of hot water has reduced gradually until today/sunday - no hot water. have had to switch CH off for water to get hot.also 2 upstairs Rad's have been cold since his last visit!!
If, as I suspect there is still sludge in the system - what is the answer?
