Hi All
Was hoping for some opinions on how to finish laminate floor against a sliding door.
The floor will be flush with the door threshold, so there is no depth available to fit a scotia. The planks will run lengthways along the door, not end on.
I have done some research and I think there are 3 options:
1. Rely on the expansion gaps around the rest of the room and butt it tight to the door with a small silicone joint.
2. Use an edge trim, however I am struggling to find one 3.2m long - Can you join them?
3. Use a T Bar threshold and stick it to the top of the laminate - Surely this leave a void under the threshold so it will bounce?
The rest of the room will have expansion joints hidden by the skirting boards.
I'm open to other options so please fire away!
Thanks in advance
