I have noticed on close inspection that the flooring I have put down in the odd couple of places has started to creep apart on some of the joins.

Only see it when you look closely and I might be answering my own question here but on install some of the locking system came off in places on the board. Now as it was last year I would be hard put to remember on what boards these happened on but is this the most likely scenario?

Flooring is Floormaster Aqualoc range and was on special offer from B@Q when bought. As was going to be original bathromm and kitchen install bought ajob lot and did whole downstairs with it.Rooms are separated.

Concrete base, used the grey underlay for it that they sell.

Thanks for any ideas.Just want to satisfy my curiosity.

it probably was down to the locking system breaking off. For future I put a little bead of pva glue on any edges that I have problems with just to be sure.

it’s also advisable to leave the packs in the same room for a few days to acclimatise. i feel that you can get a little bit of shrinkage if they are not left long enough.

as jerry has said. But if a knock into lock system i would always glue every board. This system is crap. Also if the subfloor is uneven it can cause it to gap.
