Hi Everyone,
I'm probably dragging up an old topic here but,
I'm looking at laying a laminate floor in a bathroom, probably B&Q AquaLoc or Dumafloor if budget will stretch, against a tiled wall.
My tiles are 8mm thick, so given an adhesive depth of about 4mm I'm thinking I could get away with an 6-8mm expansion gap?
The opposite edge would be under the bath so I could easily make up any gap on that side, where spills are more likely?
Would this gap be enough or do I need to fit beading, if so what's the best way of attaching the beading to the tiled wall?
Thanks
[EDIT] I would imagine that any expansion would be greatest along the long dimension of the laminate, I'm intending to run the planks parallel to the wall.
