Laminate Floor - First Time onto Concrete

I am considering laying a laminate floor in my lounge and have a question if anyone can help.

The substrate in the lounge is concrete and whilst nice and cool in the summer it is freezing in the winter. Is there any sort of underlay / insulation that I could use that would help warm things up? I have a load of thin foam stuff which has a foil on one side and I wondered if laying a layer of this would help and if so which face up?
