Hello!

I wonder if someone could help me. I've fitted new laminated flooring on the ground floor but I'm having trouble finding something to cover the gap between the laminate and the base of the staircase. Our stairs are round, not square at the corner. Is there anything flexible enough to bend it around the bottom step?

Thanks

Go as far as you can with the plastic edge trim that you get and then do the rest in sealant of a similar colour.

Thanks. I've thought about it but I'm not sure how it'll look, as there is no corner I'll have to do the whole bottom step with sealant. Have you ever done anything similar? Does it look all right?

It looks pretty good 'cos thats how I did it at home. I have a dark brown parquet floor edged with stained beading. I have a piece of beading on the straight part of the bottom step and dark brown sealant on the curve. Mind you I purposely reduced the expansion gap around the curve of the step so the sealant still looks neat.
