Hi All,

I am looking for a bit of advice please.

Basically we are replacing our laminate flooring and I am wondering what are the best types to go for are?
Is it worth paying that little bit more?
Is there much difference between £7/m to say £15/m to £25/m flooring?

We have to go with Allied Carpets or Carpet Right as we are having the work done though the house insurance due to a water leak.
Are these two generally ok?

Thank you in advance. :)

They are pretty expansive and 'specialists' in carpets, not in natural wooden flooring. does you insurance company insist of using them? Normally 'stubborn' customers get what they want, form the company THEY select themselves.

The insurance company said we can use who we want but have to provide obviously the quotes for supply and fit etc. Not a problem but thought we would start with the companies they recommended.

I am open to ideas, I would like a good floor just without having to pay though the nose for it hence my questions.

Same difference as between a car of £7000 and one of £ 15.000; both have wheels and a motor. You get the quality you pay for.
Try flooring services at Yell.com in the Hull area for a specialised shop/company

In Hull there are loads of flooring places in the area surrounding the cluff road B&Q so visiting them all in one trip would be easy.
