When using laminate under the pan of the toilet do you screw down the pan through the laminate and into the floor board OR is the pan of the toilet not supposed to be sit directly on the laminate stopping the laminate expanding.

Drill over sized holes in the laminate so the floor can still expand if needed. Also a very thin beed of silicon under the loo to stop rocking and noise when it moves slightly.
