I use some Cillit bang on one of my newish worktops and it has bleached the colour out of it is there some dye or something to put the colour back

doubtfull but you could alwys use cillit bang to make the remaider look the same.

would love but it is such a mess like a dirty white/grey colour

hey thats potentially really good news, I have been trying to get that 'left out in the sun' look on wood for ages, tried wood bleaches, liming, white wax, acrylic paint and pumice, everything...
why didn't I think of cilit bang
