Landing light switch

Hi New here I hope someone can help. Landing switch was made i to a dimmer by the ex. This is how it looks now we have took the switch off. We wire it back up it cuts off the bathroom & one bedroom light switches.
Can anyone offer help us?

Without further information on how it was wired before, or where the other ends of those wires are connected, any reply would be just guessing.

I understand. We're confused as to why there are 3 red wires. :/

Bottom & top of stairs. I think a 2 gang. And yes the other switch is downstairs

One switch at bottom for up & down and one upstairs for down & up been a dimmer switch for years

Yes it would. We are putting a dimmer back on.

So one switch switched the landing light, what did the other one do?

And was there a small jumper wire anywhere on the old switch? Maybe it's still there if you have the old switch?
