What is the power consumption of a laser printer while printing? I ask because we have one at work, someone accidentally plugged it into the UPS (not me, funnily enough it was the "experts" who fitted the new computer and till system) and every time we use it now, the UPS beeps an overload! I wouldnt think a printer would consume 3kw?! 
(theres 6 lights to indicate load, we have 3 tills and a back office pc, which light up 2 lights)
I also saw on the UPS itself it says "do not plug laser printers into this UPS". I wouldnt mind, but the UPS sockets on the wall are a different variety - they are push and twist lock sockets, so someone has consciously done this!
