Hello,

I want to level of some uneven paving stones that make up my workshop floor and plan to use latex screed . The area is about 3m x 3m and the paving stones are very solid but slightly out of level with each other. Would latex screed be an ideal covering if I need to go to about
6-8mm and is it tough and fully waterproof to stop damp coming through from underneath?

Thanks James

just the job, my only advice is mix it exactly as it says on the pack measure your water and all should be fine don't be tempted to keep troweling it just spread it near level and leave it alone.

Most latex screeds are for internal use only and will break down if subjected to any amount of moisture regualrly.

There are some available which are a higher spec and will suit your application but these will have to be sourced for a specialist supplier or good tile distributor.

Arditex or Arditex RS are the two that spring to mind. These can both be used under a DPM but they will not act as a damp proof course.
