what's happened? did we not get the olympics? damn.. STOP THE BUILDING FELLAS!!!

oh, you mena DB failed?

I know I'll probably get pounded for it, but I really think there's a case in situations like this for keeping things out of the press. This will damage our chances of hosting the world cup, so its basically damaging to the nation. The newspaper involved should think about putting the nation before newspaper sales. They could have told the FA and had him resign without the world knowing why.

There is a case for a lot of things being kept out of the news, like posh, jordan, Kerry Cat, Cowel and how to become a plumber in 3 minutes and earn 40k a year ads.

Meh, its football, who cares.

And the truth is the truth, if its inconvenient, then tough, we suffered too much suppression of inconvenient truths under labour, no more.

For someone who spends so much time posting about the horrendous economical mess we are in I thought you would see past the beautiful game and appreciate the economical benefits of hosting a world cup.
Unlike the Olympics we already have the stadiums and resources to hold a world cup and the economic benefit has been estimated at 3billion. Not a massive amount granted, but not to be sniffed at.
As a football fan of course, this is just an added bonus.

If you really believe that this new government, or any government for that matter won't suppress inconvenient truths then you must live in fairyland.
