Hi all
I'm looking to buy my first petrol lawn mower soon. I'm a bit of a honda car fan so wanted to stick with honda ideally but am open to recommendations. My dad used to have a Mountfield and that seemed OK. I have electric mowers but they don't have enough grunt really.
Thanks for any advice

The Honda Izy is a great machine, 16", 18" and 21" models available.
The deck underside does tend to rust but give it a good thick coat of paint and it will last for ages!

Thanks for the reply John. The izys look good and not badly priced

Have a Hawksmoor petrol mower and also an electric , if anything the electric is slightly better performance , the cable being the only drawback .
The petrol will stall if it meets tough going , or set too low .

Honda Izzy - most definitely. Mine - 13 years old starts first time every time unlike the mountfield that the neighbour has and asks me help keep his running.

(Pressure) Wash the underside a couple of times a season and waxoyl before you use it and when you put it away at the end of the season (whenever that is nowadays!).
