Hello,
Should I be concerned about advice I've had with regards to it being OK to lay 18mm Engineered flooring directly onto UFH spreader plates, with UFH pipes running through them?
I was surprised to hear that it's OK, but they said the spreader plate diffuses the heat sufficiently to prevent hot spots!
The idea is great if its correct, as I can't see why you'd add an insulative membrane (Ply / chip board) between the heat source and the floor you want to heat up.
