Hi all,
Can someone possibly advise me what I should use to lay a hearth stone? It will probably be slate or old pennant flag stones. They will be cut into smaller pieces to allow for different expansion rates and will be laid directly on to the existing victorian mosaic tiles currently in the fireplace. (these are pretty much beyond restoration).
